Skate was a revolutionary skating game that did something different in a world dominated by the mostly unrealistic Tony Hawk games. EA didn't want to make another over-the-top unrealistic game in which you could stay in the air for several seconds, instead, they wanted to make a game that was a bit more real, and that skaters would love. Now, I'm not a skater, but after asking any of my friends, they all tell me that that game is so much better than Tony Hawk. I guess they like the realism, the similarity of the motions and although I've never skated, (I'd Die) I loved it too. Well now, EA has announced Skate 2 which looks pretty interesting, but the campaign has taken a slight viral twist with the set of trailers that have released discussing the distressed state of San Vanelona, the disappearance of the main character of Skate and his supposed whereabouts and more. The main point here is that skating in the city has basically died with the loss of you, the main character in skate, and in Skate 2, one can assume that you will be making a appearance to give the sleepy city a wake up call. Check out all three trailers, with the debut above, and the two virals after the break.
