You read the title correctly. News comes in freshly from N4G, that the online multiplayer experience for Frontlines: Fuel of War is getting even better as the 50 player cap has been confirmed by Kaos Studios. Over on the Kaos Studios forums, a dev team member revealed that some servers will be in fact be carrying that 50 player cap for the Xbox 360. Previously, the cap was at 32 players on the Xbox 360. FYI, if anyone read the preview of the game from Gamespot, it contained information of an expected cap increase. What's even cooler, the test team managed to get around 73 players on, but just for test purposes...so no need to get that excited. Anyways, this is great news. Nice job, Kaos. The game is set to release on February 25, 2008 for the 360. But go for the demo on the XBLM, if you haven't already.
