Well, what we are trying to do here at XBO, in addition to that "social networking" profiles, is to implement a video interface. It's basically going to be a gallery of videos off of YouTube featuring a bunch of various gaming related videos. These can be trailers, interviews and all that sort of stuff that we find that you guys should take a watch at. So once we get that working properly, the possibilities are endless as far as that feature goes. Think it will be useful?
Hey guys, just a brief update. To swag winners for our Command and Conquer giveaway, we should be mailing the prizes soon, so not to worry. Along with that, we are still working on implementing more "social networking" features into XBO users interface , so keep an eye on that. On another topic, teh Olympics have arrived, so hopefully watching those tonight. Anyone else care to watch them? Peace.
Alright, the first XBO Video review has been recorded and should be up sometime within the next few weeks. Why such a long time? Well, since it's our first time doing this, we've gotta make sure everything is just right. We still haven't decided on to which format we want to do the review with, an intro in person, then voiceover with gameplay, or a person sitting there with a square right next to him showing the gameplay. We will probably go with the first one as that should come out more polished and informative. The review is for Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3, and this will go in addition to written reviews. So in the future, we hope to do these more often, in addition to the regular written reviews.
Hey guys, this week we are hoping to try out some new stuff at the XBO HQ. Firstly, we're going to be starting a section which prompts you of upcoming stuff at XBO for the week, so that should be a plus. Second, personalized "social-networking" style profiles should be making way onto the site as well, giving you even more reason to register if you haven't already done so. Also, we are continuing XBO Radio after a brief hiatus, along with weekly news bytes (you'll see what those are once we start doing them, probably today, check the Weekly Expectations section (XBO Quick Nav Bar has the link) for the audio. We might do a video review very soon, so stay tuned for that and hopefully that becomes a regular thing here at XBO. Oh!, and all users have access to these blogs so go awne and make your own for the world to see. We initially started this for XBO Editors, but hopefully you guys also take advantage of this great feature. Also, don't forget to visit the forums as well!!!
